The Circular Economy Accelerator (CEA) brings together 15 South African women ecopreneurs with later-stage businesses and products to further their growth in the circular or green economy mandate. Founders with validated green and eco products at market that are looking to accelerate their growth, market share and product strength should apply to The Circular Economy Accelerator. #CEA2023 aims to strengthen, accelerate and support the growth of women founded businesses in the circular economy through the provision of an entrepreneurial acceleration programme & thematic expert support.
The Circular Economy Accelerator is a nine-month hybrid programme that kicks off in August 2023. The programme is designed to incorporate a holistic approach to acceleration including founder support and health, an in-person venture clinic, a series of thematic masterclasses, mentoring sessions and a thematic engineers expert council. The eight month acceleration journey will host two in-person events, the Venture Clinic and Demo Day. The Venture Clinic prepares you for your acceleration journey and marks as the start for the masterclass series focussed on business growth, strategic product development, mentorship, and networking. The accelerator culminates in May 2024 with a Demo Day that will provide you, as one of South Africa’s ecopreneurs, with an opportunity to pitch to and hear from investors in the African start-up green ecosystem.
