Nelenkosi Projects, a 100% black woman-owned business, specializes in recycling float glass and glass bottles. Their innovative approach involves crushing float glass to size, transforming it into sheet glass for resale. Additionally, they crush and sell recycled glass bottles, contributing significantly to environmental sustainability. Despite being a small business, Nelenkosi Projects plays a vital role in addressing some of South Africa's most pressing challenges, including unemployment, environmental issues, and the energy crisis.

By employing collectors on both long and short-term bases, Nelisa not only provides employment opportunities but also contributes to reducing energy consumption in glass production. Furthermore, her business helps decrease the use of raw materials and greenhouse gas emissions, making a substantial impact on environmental conservation.
