Mentorship is a golden thread that runs through all WomHub programmes. This is an opportunity to support women-owned innovations in Science, Technology, Engineering and Manufacturing (STEM). Our WomHub experience has shown that a successful mentoring relationship delivers positive results for both the mentor and the mentee.
This mentorship opportunity brings together a team of experienced and passionate mentors to inspire and educate start-up or SMME founders. Mentors and mentees will be matched based on a series of criteria.

- Have experience/exposure to the start-up environment in Africa specific to:
- Strategy and Business Planning
- Product / Market Fit
- Marketing and Sales
- Due Diligence
- Business Operations
- Human Resources (HR)
- Be able to commit to 6 x 1-hour monthly virtual sessions with their mentee(s)
- Respect the confidentiality of the mentee(s)’ ideas and innovations
- Have previous mentoring/coaching experience
Mentors can be:
- Any gender
- A STEM or non-STEM professional
- Based in any country in the world. All mentoring engagements will be virtual.
