Khanyisa Bafazi Training Programme

Are you running a business in or around East London? Whether you’re a talented maker, a small-scale farmer, a caterer, a seamstress, or a service provider — if you’re building something of your own, this programme is for you.
​
The Khanyisa Bafazi Training Programmeis a transformative programme designed to support women-owned businesses in the Eastern Cape. The programme is focused on taking your existing hustle and turning it into a thriving, registered business — by providing the tools, training and support to grow confidently and sustainably.

Programme Highlights:
  • Practical business and financial training tailored for informal women-owned enterprises.
  • Learn to manage money, price your products, and plan for growth.
  • Get support to register and formalise your business.
  • Learn how to use your phone and digital tools to reach new customers.
  • Build a lasting network with other women on the same journey.
  • Access to inspiring mentorship, expert-led workshops, and the WomHub innovation community.

Eligibility Criteria:
  • Applicants must be women currently running a business in or around East London.
  • The business should be operational for at least 6 months.
  • Priority will be given to businesses in the informal sector — including crafting, catering, tailoring, farming, and services.
  • Applicants must be South African citizens.
  • A willingness to participate fully and grow your business with intention.
